If you receive a Google Play Store error on your Android based device with error code “RH01” – then a simple fix may be able to resolve it!  The RH01 error usually means that you have an incorrect date/time set on your device.  Simple verify the date and time.  Once set correctly, this issue will normally resolve itself!

Note: This issue is mainly reported on older versions of Android O/S.

Quick Steps – These steps may vary based on your device manufacturer and version of Android O/S.

  • Open ‘Settings’
  • Select Date/Time – ensure the date/time is correct. Also check time zone is correct for your region. Time zone settings may be located in a different area under the settings menu on some Android devices.
  • You should normally have ‘Automatically update date & time’ selected, but in cases where networks are unavailable or time zones are incorrect these settings may default to incorrect values.
