Emoji Pancake Pan From Aldi
Aldi Grocery stores have more than just groceries. Aldi Grocery stores are located all over the world. It is interesting to see what items are available in each sale advertisement. The United States Aldi does carry some European brands at decent prices. In fact, most items at Aldi are much lower than other places. Besides groceries, many Aldi stores are now carrying household items for reasonable prices and they are flying off the shelves.
I have bought rain boots, toilet paper, garden chairs, garden lamps and candles as well as fruits, vegetables, meats and canned goods from the store with great customer satisfaction. On one successful shopping day, I bought an Emoji pancake pan for nine dollars that makes pancakes with Emoji faces. I had seen this pan advertised for more and had not bought it because of the expense. I was skeptic about purchasing such a cheap pan. Most everything I have bought from Aldi has been good so far, but the test for this pan would be will it work or is it a fail?
I washed the pan before use as the directions suggested and let it dry. I prepped the pan with non-stick spray and pre-heated the pan. I mixed the pancake batter and poured small amounts into each face and let them cook. Flipping the pancakes was easier than I expected. The Emoji face came out on both sides.
Now the truth would be were they cooked all the way through? The answer was yes, they were. I also made a batch with bananas mixed in the batter and they cooked all they way through as well.
The nine-dollar pan from Aldi got a gold star and my vote of confidence. I would recommend this product for use. The pan washed easily after use and has held up to several more uses. The small pancakes make eating on the go easy. Nine dollars was spent very well.
