Some cars now come with a MyLink Radio System. The display touch screen is great to navigate.  The touch buttons are large enough to see and it lights up.  There are two home buttons, which does not sound convenient, but it is.  A favorites section and a scanning section make finding stations easy.  For a small fee I can get XM Radio.  XM Radio always plays different types of music and short to no commercials.  It makes driving through the no service areas bearable!

External MP3 players can attach to play music and movies.  The display screen can also play movies and music through a flash drive.  The only thing missing is a CD player.  I know, an old-school, silly thing to miss!  I looked in the car manual to set my radio stations on the favorite tab.  As I could not figure out how.  The directions were very vague.  I looked on YouTube and found nothing.  Through determination I figured out how to set stations on the favorite tab!

To set your favorite(s):

  • Make sure your desired station is playing.  Scroll the favorite tab to a position number.  Press the left and right arrow at the same time and this will make that station one of your favorites.  Move the favorite tab to a different position number and repeat with a new station.  There are a total of 7 stations that can be saved in the favorites tab.

The MyLink Radio System is nice and easy to manage.  They could have made the directions a bit more clear.  Happy driving 🙂
