Netflix 3% Review
The title of the new Netflix show is called 3%. It takes place in the future. Society has been devastated and people are living in severe poverty in a place called Inland. There is a bright side. The people of Inland can go through “The Process”. This is where people can apply and take part in a series of tests so they can go live in Offshore.
Offshore provides a better life for the 3% of applicants accepted. The eight episodes will keep your interest. The characters develop and you either hate them or like them. There are some twists and surprises in each episode.
The film is in Portuguese, but with Netflix it can be set to English. The actor’s mouths do not sync with English, but that is soon forgotten. Brazil has some good actors and they do a good job in this series. I watch subtitled films and it was nice that I could set the language to English.
Netflix has several original films. 3% started as a web series on YouTube and Netflix bought it and made more episodes. This was good marketing. YouTube also has their own original films on YouTube Red. Another subscription that will cost you.
Hulu, Netflix, YouTube Red, Amazon, and Google all have their own original films. Each one will cost you between ten dollars and twenty dollars a month. That quickly adds up, especially if you have cable too.
There are many new original films to choose from. I give 3% a five-star review. It will make you think and hold your interest. Grab some popcorn and get ready to binge watch this weekend.
