Neverland Ranch In Ruins
You are on page 2/2.
Photographers who explored the house go on to say that everything in the house was geared towards children. Jackson had three children of his own. This really isn’t that uncommon. While exploring the house, they even looked at his fan mail. Toys littered every part of the house. A huge arcade room filled with games and toys really stuck out to all the photographers! The photographers felt uneasy in the house and soon left.
I wonder if their preconceived ideas gave them the feelings. Everyone always thought he was a child molester, but he was acquitted. Some wonder if he was found innocent because of his fame. If Jackson had gone to jail, I think he would have been fine and treated well. Nobody would have messed with Jackson. He was an idol to many and he was a respected music artist.
Michael Jackson did like to collect stuff. He was a borderline hoarder and collected anything that had his image. Nobody denies that Jackson collected toys and loved to shop. Paris, Blanket and Prince were taken on many toy shopping sprees.
Jackson’s children, Prince, Paris and Blanket still have an investment in Neverland Ranch. Sycamore Valley Ranch Company paid off mortgage debt in 2008, so they also have a vested interest. Paris visited Neverland in early 2010 and the sight of it in ruins broke her heart. She vowed to restore Neverland to its glory. Early in 2015 landscapers began repairs on the grounds and some animals have also returned. It is not clear if anyone lives there, but someone maintains the grounds and care of the animals.
In my opinion, the investment company will restore the ranch and open it up to the public. People still buy Michael Jackson icons and music. He is still as popular today as he was when alive. I see the amusement park being a mini attraction and tons of people visiting the ranch. Who knows, maybe they will open the mansion up as a bed and breakfast!
